Day6-365 Challenge-A Pleasant Window Shopping Experience

The day really began with no expectations in mind. I had been invited for a Car lunch, the all new Tata Hexa. Having attended product launches, I have avoided quite a few having developed a phobia primarily on account of the pushy sales guys and the milling crowds. I was in for a pleasant surprise as far as this Car Launch is concerned and I will lay a visual treat in front of your eyes.

As soon as I entered there was a registration formality that was more like a breeze.

As is the case, I then ventured forth to have a look at the car- Hexa. All bright, brand new, plush interiors, the works, all the possible features that could be packed in to make the car as smart as possible keeping with the times. Of course I did have my selfie moment with the car, to brag about on a later date, and weave a story for my two car loving sons.

The car does make a statement both in terms of looks and the features that have been packed in.

Having Ticked all the right boxes as far as looks and features were concerned, it all boils down to performance on the road. For me as a customer its is very important to be convinced about, a. The Features, b.The Looks, c. The Mileage, d. The Cost. We as a part of our daily lives are subject to mediocre roads and craters on the moon. According to me the Hexa will give you a very pleasant ride on the moon as well. Now let us understand why. Imagine riding on a hilly stretch, dizzy heights and having to negotiate the worst of curves sometimes even on three wheels. Now take a  look at this:

Cool. Is it not. I freeze when I have to drive on a upward incline especially on those bridges, where I need to constantly balance between the clutch and the brake, release one and hold the other. Cant really afford a mistake, cause an error can lead to the car heading in the backward direction and all those honking vehicles behind. Stressful indeed. Now with the Hexa you can relax and drive on steep inclines wherein the car pauses for three seconds without moving an inch- without any control whatsoever on the clutch or the brake. Enough time for you to gather you wits and negotiate your car as plesantly as ever.

What about the pains of having your car stalled in a flooded street. Panic moments. The Hexa can wade into water up to 400 mm deep, that is quite deep. I was super excited about this particular feature and come out of it without any problem.

And what happens when you have to go drive on a narrow slope on one side, with a plain side, gives a feeling of driving on a inclined wall. Is there a fear of going topsy-turvy with the car going out of control. With the Hexa driving on any terrain seems to be no problem including this kind of scenario. Have a look.

What happens when you are presented with a movie like situation where you car has to climb a flight of steps. No problem the Hexa is there to defy them all.

or the road is as bumpy as it gets, cant be worse than this. The Hexa negotiated this with ease.

Amazing driving experience. you have to definitely take the ride to believe what this car is really capable of doing. Worried that you may be left with an aching back or a bumped head, Well I had superlative drive despite all the ups and downs.

That was not all, We were taken to the main area where there was some lovely music which had been organised, a separate kids play area, all in all an experience to remember.

Overall a very pleasant experience, lingering moments and an unexpected bonus, made a few new friends for life

and by the way the Car costs around Rs 12 lakhs, Excuse me Madam, Where is the billing counter. Is there an Exchange offer, my old car is just outside. :)
